Who We Are:

Iron Mountain Training Group was founded to address the need for professional firearms training in Southern Utah. Raised in a region where firearms are a part of our heritage, we recognized the absence of accessible, high-quality training resources. Our commitment to filling this void led us to offer expert instruction drawn from our backgrounds in military, competitive shooting, law enforcement and self-defense. We firmly believe that as responsible U.S. citizens, it is our duty to not only exercise but also understand and master our Second Amendment rights

We offer a comprehensive range of training services, encompassing introductory courses for pistol and rifle handling, competition shooting, shotgun proficiency, self-defense tactics, and advanced tactical training, among other specialized programs. Our training sessions can be tailored to suit individual needs, conducted either within a group setting or through private lessons. Our instructors, comprised of military veterans and extensively trained civilian professionals, are dedicated to serving members of our community, regardless of their skill level.

Instructors:

Pat Brower-

Pat, our instructor at Iron Mountain Training Group, is your guide to mastering firearms skills. As an M class USPSA shooter, Pat sets the bar high in competition shooting, and bringing the perspective of a practical shooter to our training programs.

Pat's journey includes learning from the best in the shooting community, mastering skills from self-defense to advanced carbine and pistol techniques. He's not just a skilled shooter; he's also trained to teach others, ensuring our programs are accessible and effective.

Outside the range, Pat has over a decade of experience in wildland firefighting, and in winter, he used to work on ski patrol as a certified EMT. His background serving for a short time in the Navy adds valuable life experience as well.

Pat stays sharp by regularly participating in shooting competitions, training with elite-level instructors, and maintaining a focus on the fundamentals. Also, being a member of the Tactical Cowboy Training Solutions Team, Pat brings a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement
